At Goodyear we frequently refer to independent testing bodies, magazines and auto clubs.

They independently test tyres for an average of 15 key performance criteria, typically including:

  • Wet and dry handling and braking
  • Cornering grip
  • Durability
  • Fuel consumption
  • Internal noise
  • Aquaplaning

ÖAMTC (Der Österreichische Automobil-, Motorrad- und Touring Club)

The Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club was founded in 1896 and is an independent, not-for-profit organization. 

 

Stiftung Warentest

This is a consumer foundation, based in Germany and dedicated to providing unbiased advice on all types of products. Their ratings have a tremendous influence on consumer purchases across Europe.
