Efikasnost korištenja goriva je mjera otpora kotrljanju određene gume. Guma s niskim otporom kotrljanju je ekonomičnija u pogledu potrošnje goriva jer zahtijeva manje energije za kotrljanje. Efikasnost korištenja goriva se ocjenjuje na skali od A (najviša ocjena) do E (najniža ocjena).
