Designed for mild conditions, summer tyres can be used year-round in many regions. Performance decreases once the temperature dips below 7°C.
Designed to: help provide excellent performance on both wet and dry roads.
Consider if: you enjoy driving with precision and live in a place where it’s warm regularly. Don’t let the name fool you though; summer tyres do offer impressive wet traction. Just make sure to change to winter tyres if you know you’ll have to drive through snow or ice.
As the name suggest, our all-season tyres are a great option for all-round performance with a wide variety of surfaces and conditions.
Designed to: face changing weather conditions like rain, sleet, slush and even light snow.
Consider if: you live in a place that faces a variety of weather conditions. However, if you know you’ll have to drive through snow or ice on a regular basis, you might want to consider winter tyres for the colder months.
Optimised for cold weather conditions of 7°C and below. Winter tyres also feature treads designed to maximize grip and braking force on snow and ice.
Designed to: enhance grip in even the most severe winter weather conditions including slush, snow, freezing rain and ice.
Consider if: you live in a place that frequently sees snow or ice. However, winter tyres aren’t designed for all seasons. They should be replaced with either summer or all-season tyres once the weather warms up.
Some of our tyres have special features that make them excel in certain situations. Here’s a quick explanation of what they do.
Our SoundComfort technology delivers a much quieter and comfortable ride by reducing your vehicle’s interior noise level with up to 50%*
Our revolutionary RunOnFlat technology lets you drive at up to 50mph on a flat tyre. So there’s no need for roadside tyre changes, and a reduced risk of motorway blowouts.
With rim protectors built into the tyre, you’ll enjoy greater protection against curb damage.
Designed for on-road use by SUV vehicles, and rated for speeds of up to 270km/h.
These 4-wheel-drive tyres are designed for off road use.
Designed for off-road use with 4-wheel-drive vehicles, these tyres may also be used on the road at speeds of up to 190km/h.
*Depending on the type of vehicle, its speed and road surface. Based on internal vehicle road measurements, tested February 2018, January 2018, November 2017 and October 2011 by Goodyear engineers in Luxembourg. Tyre size: 225/55R17 on VW Passat Alltrack and Ford Kuga and 255/45R18 on Audi A7.
EU Tyre ratings
EU tyre rating facilitates the comparison of tyres with respect to safety and environmental protection.
Fuel efficiency is a measure of the tyre's rolling resistance. A tyre with low rolling z is more fuel efficient since it requires less energy to roll. Fuel efficiency is rated from A (highest rating) to G (lowest rating).
Wet grip is a measure of tyre’s braking ability on wet roads. Wet grip is rated from A (highest rating) to G (lowest rating).
The external noise generated by the tyre, measured in decibels. The black sound waves indicate the noise class, from 1 (quiet) to 3 (noisy).
