Features

  1. ECOREADY Technology

Tires featuring more than 40% of sustainable materials will be marked by the ECOREADY TECHNOLOGY logo.

Sustainable materials content, like Rice Husk Ash (RHA) based silica in tread and carcass compounds**

**Goodyear defines a sustainable material as bio-based (originating from biological sources); renewable (composed of replenishable biomass); or recycled (reprocessed from reclaimed materials) material as defined in ISO 14021; or one produced using or contributing to other practices designed to promote resource conservation and/or emissions reductions.

  1. New tread compound formulation

The enhanced formulation improves rolling resistance through increased silica content.

Lower rolling resistance, up to 10% more mileage and more robustness.*

*In comparison to predecessor, based on internal Goodyear data.

  1. Deep sipes

Sipes create additional biting edges to interlock with the road surface until late life.

Short braking distances and improved wet grip throughout tire life.

  1. Different tread design, depending on size

Optimized rib layout to ensure even contact pressure distribution and shoulder robustness with all tyre sizes.

Tread design has been optimized to balance wear performance, robustness and rolling resistance.

‘FRT’ stands for ‘Free Rolling Tyre’ and is a legal marking according to the UNECE Regulation No. 54, which indicates that the tyre is specifically designed and intended for the equipment of trailer axles and axles of motor vehicles other than front steering and all drive axles. Therefore these trailer tyres marked ‘FRT’ should be used exclusively on trailer axles and axles of motor vehicles other than front steering and all drive axles and should not be fitted in any other position. Goodyear Dunlop will not warrant and cannot be held accountable for any potential liability claim involving FRT tyres fitted outside these recommendations.
