Higher mileage, low rolling resistance and better traction

New EQMAX offers higher mileage, increased fuel efficiency and usage of highest percentage of sustainable materials ever seen in a Goodyear truck production tyre.

  1. Tyres featuring up to 55% of sustainable materials, like Rice Husk Ash (RHA) based silica in its tread and carcass compound*

    *From 40% to 55% of sustainable materials, depending on different sizes.

  1. New compound with increased content of silica

    High abrasion resistant compound with silica is helping to increase mileage and reduce heat generation, rolling resistance and fuel consumption.

    Higher mileage and increased fuel efficiency**
    **Up to 6% improved rolling resistance and up to 20% better mileage, compared to predecessor.

 

  1. New carcass compound

    Cool running carcass compound with silica is helping reduce rolling resistance and fuel consumption.

    Lower rolling resistance and increase long term durability.

 

  1. Electric Drive Ready

    Designed for internal combustion vehicles with diesel engines, hybrid or electric vehicles. 

    Higher load capacity than conventional tires of the same size and lower rolling resistance to save autonomy.*

  1. Rib tread design with two additional types of sipes

    Additional sipes are creating more bitting edges and impove grip on wet surface.

    Improved versatility - better wet grip performance throughout the tyre life and improved braking.*

  1. Shoulder groove design with stiffeners and deep grooves

    Stiffener bridges in the shoulder grooves connect when the tire rolls through the footprint reducing wear and improving mileage
