German transport companies Schade Logistic and Rolf Benzinger Spedition have selected Goodyear tyres for their truck fleets. Rolf Benzinger Spedition has not only chosen Goodyear truck tyres but also Goodyear´s FleetFirst truck tyre management program offering products, services and solutions. The multi-year contracts include tyres for about 1,000 vehicles.
"The experience from their tyres and the support we get from the Goodyear experts have convinced us to convert completely to Goodyear. We place particular emphasis on mileage and fuel consumption as well as the availability of mold cure retreads, so therefore we focus primarily on Goodyear KMAX and FUELMAX products,” says Björn Schade, CEO of Schade Logistic based in Jessen near Wittenberg Germany.
Schade Logistic specialises in glass transport throughout Germany and Europe. In addition to this, it provides regular transport services carrying concrete, paper rolls and construction materials in its extensive portfolio.
"From the range of Goodyear products to the quality services they offer, everything is just right for us," says Alexander Benzinger, Managing Director of Rolf Benzinger Spedition. "The strong presence in Europe and the comprehensive range of products and services make FleetFirst the perfect choice for us."
Rolf Benzinger Spedition is based in Friolzheim, between Stuttgart and Pforzheim, Germany. The company operates a full European transport service including refrigerated, container, heavy haulage, mounted forklift, coil and car transport. The FleetFirst services that Rolf Benzinger Spedition use include new and retreaded tyres, the TruckForce service network with approximately 2,000 strategic locations in 28 European countries, the ServiceLine 24h roadside assistance and FleetOnlineSolutions, Goodyear´s web-based fleet management system.
