BMW M2 CUP
In Germany, the BMW M2 Cup allows rookies from junior racing series and karting to move up the racing ladder to compete in powerful 420 hp rear-wheel-drive cars. The cars are prepared centrally, and reassigned to each driver for each race weekend. This gives drivers the best possible opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a fair comparison with other up-and-coming racers. The races support the DTM championship, giving drivers experience of racing on a professional and televised platform at a diverse range of circuits in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, including the Norisring, Lausitzring, Nürburgring, Red Bull Ring, Assen and Hockenheim.
