So the challenge to our engineers was to complement the predictive safety systems found on modern cars and develop a tyre that could control these powerful modern vehicles without loss of performance. The result was the Eagle F1 Asymmetric. Combining our revolutionary Active Cornergrip Technology and Racing Compound derivatives, the pressure is evenly distributed when cornering at high speeds, meaning more contact patch grips the road more of the time.
The special features of this new dry-grip compound incorporate the latest developments from Goodyear’s Innovation Centre, such as specific “Goodyear made” polymer, traction-booster resins and a nano-carbon black reinforcement.
In the 4 listed sizes, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyre has earned the prestigious N0 label from Porsche, which warrants its quality.
Starting spring 2009, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres come as original equipment on the latest Porsche Cayman and Boxster models in two mixed fitments.
