The result was the Eagle F1 Asymmetric. Combining our revolutionary Active Cornergrip Technology and Racing Compound derivatives, the pressure is evenly distributed when cornering at high speeds, meaning more contact patch grips the road more of the time.
The special features of this new dry-grip compound incorporate the latest developments from Goodyear’s Innovation Center, such as specific “Goodyearmade” polymer, traction-booster resins and a nano-carbon black reinforcement.
In the 4 listed sizes, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tire has earned the prestigious N0 label from Porsche, which warrants its quality.
Starting spring 2009, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires come as original equipment on the latest Porsche Cayman and Boxster models in two mixed fitments.
