An artificially wet circuit is the key element in the measurement of wet handling dynamics. Surfaces with different friction coefficients provide an objective and reliable measure of the road holding capabilities as well as wet braking performance.

As the tyre wear progresses, the higher wet grip compound of the inner layer is exposed and gradually replaces the cap compound. The result is an outstanding wet braking and handling performance throughout the entire life of the tyre.
