Wide Circumferential Grooves
The EfficientGrip is equipped with a set of four wide circumferential grooves, whose shape and positioning have been optimised to facilitate efficient water dispersal from the tyre contact area. This is a big advantage on wet roads as the risk of aquaplaning is reduced.
Multifunctional Blading
The blading of the EfficientGrip has been optimised in comparison with its predecessor. The rearrangement of the blades position as well as the high number of biting edges provide more grip for challenges encountered on all kinds of wet surfaces.
New Tread Compound
The EfficientGrip tread features new polymers and a new silica coupling agent for an optimised tread surface microstructure. It provides excellent wet handling and wet braking performance due to the increased grip in wet road conditions.
